Modelling acoustics over a thermocline

I am new to COMSOL and am using it for a project in my Computational Acoustics class. There are not many resources provided by my class to this program.

I am exploring the effects a thermocline has over a submarine's sonar for a case study. I am having trouble building an acoustic model with all the axis variables such as pressure, temperature and density. For simplicity and maximum effects I wanted to model a 1km square 2D area of ocean which features a rapid temperature drop at 100m deep. On either side of this drop the water will have different densities due to its specific properties. Also pressure will increase with depth, I am ignoring the effects of pressure on density with depth and assuming its an incompressible fluid. If I could be pointed in the right direction towards doing this it would be great.
