Difference between uaxi_axi and uaxi_smaxi

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hi,
I was just going through the library problems on peristalsis(solid to fluid coupling) as well as the obstacle in fluid(fluid to solid coupling) and got the variables u_axi_smaxi and uaxi_axi. I am just curious to know what is the physical significance of these variables and how are they defined mathematically?
Also I am not able to figure out the difference in the mesh that have been chosen in these two problems. I am working on a problem that is somewhat the combination of the two, i.e., the fluid-solid-fluid coupling. Is there any way it is possible?

Thanks in advance!
