Model of a sphere movement in microchannel

Dear all,

I am currently working on the modelization of cells movements in microchannels. I am using the fluid flow module, with an ODE to describe the position and velocity of the cell (a sphere in the model).
My question is : how can I move the circle element which is used to modelize the cell, according to the position variable (solved with the ODE) ?
I saw several papers using the ALE Moving Mesh mode, but I don't know if it can modify the geometry.
