As I try to solve my 1D problem with 3 diffusion modes in COMSOL 4.1, I keep getting this following error message:

Undefined value found.
- Detail: Undefined value found in the stiffness matrix.
There are 261 equations giving NaN/Inf in the matrix rows for the variable mod1.c2
at coordinates: (0), (0.0005), (0.001), (0.0015), (0.002), ...
There are 261 equations giving NaN/Inf in the matrix rows for the variable mod1.c3
at coordinates: (0), (0.0005), (0.001), (0.0015), (0.002), ...
and similarly for the degrees of freedom, NaN/Inf in the matrix columns

What does this mean? I am using the same exact constants and expressions I used to solve the problem in COMSOL 3.5, which solves the problem just fine.

Hi

obviously something has changed in the BC's, check the release notes. there were a few things 3.5 permitted that were not really physical and that have been "corrected" in V4, so they must be coded slightly differently, but I'm not specifically aware of your case

Good luck
