Product Updates

A product update is a small download that updates your current COMSOL installation. A product update contains corrections to problems, but no new functionality. It requires that you have a working local COMSOL installation, but does not require any updated license files.

COMSOL 3.5a

Patch for MATLAB 2010a support and Snow Leopard support

This patch adds compatibility with MATLAB 2010a. The Macintosh patch also adds compatibility with Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard. The patch is cumulative and replaces any earlier 3.5a patches for MATLAB support.

COMSOL 3.5a Hotfix 1

This hotfix adds support for interfacing with later versions of external software. A new SOR line smoother has been added which improves the performance of the geometric multigrid solver for fluid-flow simulations that use boundary-layer meshes. Various stability improvements and small fixes have been added.
