- LiveLink for Creo™ Parametric. With this new product, COMSOL
Multiphysics can be seamlessly integrated with the latest design
software from PTC.
New Functionality in the CAD Import Module
- The Parasolid® geometry kernel from
Siemens PLM is now the default geometry kernel for users of the CAD
Import Module and all CAD LiveLink products. The Parasolid kernel
enables more advanced geometry operations and makes it possible to
create complex shapes within the native COMSOL Multiphysics geometry
modeling environment.
- Automatic scaling of geometry objects for handling of CAD models of
vastly different length scales ranging from nanodevices to mountains
and beyond.
