LiveLink™ for Revit®

Synchronization of Conceptual Masses and Mass Parameters

By synchronizing conceptual masses between Autodesk® Revit® Architecture software and COMSOL Multiphysics® software, you can now apply multiphysics simulation to the early stages of the architectural design process to validate and explore architectural ideas. Mass parameters are also synchronized, allowing for the optimization of conceptual shapes and forms in Autodesk® Revit® Architecture software from the COMSOL Multiphysics® application. Parameter values in Autodesk® Revit® Architecture software can be updated from COMSOL Multiphysics® either manually or automatically, an optimization solver being one example of automatic parameter updates. The geometry in Autodesk® Revit® Architecture software is regenerated based on the updated parameter values and synchronized with COMSOL Multiphysics® for each updated simulation.
